Relevant, accessible wellness practice
designed to meet you where you are

At PYP, we recognize that healing is essential to empowerment. Our trauma-sensitive wellness approach provides you with the tools and supportive practices to strengthen emotional wellbeing, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself.

Designed specifically for women living on low or no income, our offerings are accessible, practical, and rooted in compassion. We understand that stress, trauma, and life challenges often create barriers to stability, and we are here to help you move forward at your own pace.

Through a combination of group workshops, creative expression, and personalized support, we meet you exactly where you are, creating space for rest, reflection, and growth. Our approach blends mindfulness, movement, and expressive arts with peer connection, helping you develop sustainable practices that support both healing and long-term resilience.

We are not therapists, and our programs are not a substitute for therapy. Instead, our services can complement the work you may do with a qualified therapist by offering additional tools, practices, and community support. We are also happy to help you find and connect with a therapist if you need one.

Wellness Wednesdays

Our weekly Wellness Wednesdays offer a space to pause, recharge, and build supportive practices for healing and growth in community.

11am Yoga with Lesley

Led by certified instructor Lesley Fairbanks, our trauma-sensitive yoga sessions offer a gentle way to reconnect with the body.

12pm Mindfulness with Suzi

Mindfulness practitioner Suzi Purcell guides participants in practical, accessible exercises to manage stress, improve focus, and build emotional resilience.

1pm Community Group with Gail

Led by PYP Co-founder, Gail Mocklin, these supportive discussions cover topics like boundaries, nervous system regulation, and self-talk, using our original guided worksheets.

While we center the wellbeing of our participants on Wellness Wednesdays, we welcome volunteers and community members to join us following a brief intake. We strive to foster genuine connection and create an experience in which everyone at the table feels a sense of belonging, worth, and freedom to share personal stories and insight.
