At Pave Your Path, we offer coaching, workshops and skill building to women looking to break through the barriers of poverty. Our volunteer coaches are members in our community who have a sincere interest in helping others to reach their potential for success. Our participants are highly motivated individuals who want to improve their lives and willing to give their goals a true and persistent effort.
We also serve as advocates and thought leaders to help advance policy, public awareness and community programs to ensure cross-agency effectiveness for the most marginalized populations in our community.

1-1 Coaching
Get personal support. From the minute you cross our doorstep, you will be treated with dignity you deserve as you start the process for changing the direction of YOUR future. Our Coaching Program is a personalized program aimed at helping individuals to find their path forward in life and achieve lasting self-sufficiency. Every new participant will have an intake meeting to begin the process of identifying their goals for their future. The unique circumstances and experience of every Coach/Participant is evaluated to ensure the highest possible likelihood of success for that relationship to flourish and for goals to be achieved. Benefit from a hands on experience @ The Learning Lab gives participants a way to continue building their technology skills both in person and remotely. Digital technology has become a necessary part of the path to self-sufficiency. The Learning Lab @ Pave Your Path provides access to computers, up-to-date software, and skill building opportunities to assist participants in achieving goals.
Participants can work on resumes, cover letters, typing skills, apply for jobs, and research training programs right here in our office, where PYP staff is always available to provide support and answer questions (Covid-19 Restrictions Apply).
As a certified Northstar Digital Literacy testing site, participants can take exams and earn proficiency certificates in 14 different subjects, including Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and Information Literacy. In addition to earning resume-building certificates, participants can use Northstar’s self-guided learning modules to further improve their computer skills. Pave Your Path has also developed several digital literacy workshops that allow participants to follow along and practice on their own screen.
Learn from experts. A move forward starts with a single step, and we provide modes of training that will help you take it. This program offers is a range of skill building workshops from Financial Wellness to Mindfulness to Education /Employment Coaching. We also provide initial and ongoing training for all coaches and our specialists team to ensure that we are all working together for successful outcomes and doing it in a way that respects the journey of our clients.
